A lot has happened since I last posted and I am about to hit the road now that this huge hail producing storm has almost blown by. I’ll post more details later, but in the last few days I’ve ridden in Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, went to Aerostich headquarters, crossed back into Canada, visited family in Sioux Lookout, ON and ridden through beautiful Manitoba. I’ll never tire of the endless fields of sunflowers in full bloom. It makes flat land look really attractive. Living in a city the size of Toronto, it’s always a different perspective to be able to almost see the curvature of the earth in the distance. With Toronto traffic these days your views usually consist of the back end of the same car for an hour.
One quick update from my last post about my phone not working while in the US. Virgin Tech support had told me they would call me… on my phone that doesn’t work…to trouble shoot the issue. So they called me three times and the third voice mail says “Since we have tried to call you three times, and you have not answered, we are closing this ticket and listing it as “Resolved”. I discovered all three voice mails when I returned to Canada and my phone worked again. So remember folks, if your phone isn’t working make sure to answer it when tech support calls! <facepalm>
Okay, hail has stopped and I can see sunny skies in the direction I am headed. They could be three days away given how flat everything here is, but I can see them.
